Biography
Jean-Loïc Le Net, DVM, ACVP, ECVP
Dr. Le Net's academic background includes a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the veterinary school of Toulouse and a Master of Science from the University of Angers (France). Following a 3 years veterinary pathology training residency program at the NYS College of Veterinary Medicine in Cornell University (USA), Jean-Loïc became a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) in 1988.
Jean-Loïc joined Pfizer PGRD Amboise in 1988 where his functions included :
- Scientific Director, Pathology Department [review of all drug related effects, study reports and regulatory documents],
- Senior Toxicologic Pathologist [gross and histopathology data interpretation of hundreds of studies on a wide variety of test compounds, of laboratory animals, of route of administration, of duration and of study types],
- Drug Safety Representative in interdisciplinary early and full drug development teams [design and monitoring of toxicological studies, risk management of toxicological issues and active communications with Regulatory Authorities].
In 2009, Jean-Loïc began his consulting business, Le Net Pathology Consulting to provide preclinical pathology expertise to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agrochemical companies. His areas of expertise include reproductive, cardiovascular and skin pathology.
